The 16th IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held on March 14, 2025.
The 16th session featured two presentations by TANAKA Tohko,YOTSUMOTO Yuko. The presentation materials are available in the archive.
In this lunch seminar, the participants exchanged information on activities to resolve gender imbalance and change attitudes through collaboration with companies, as well as on the actual situation and issues involved in wheelchair-using students participating in international academic conferences.
After the two presentations, we discussed the effects of collaboration with companies and approaches to the media, as well as future issues, and exchanged ideas on how to resolve the difficulty of students voicing their opinions and the difficulty of responding to requests for reasonable accommodation.

※The IncluDE Lunch Seminars, organized by the Office for DEI Coproduction Strategies, have been held about twice a month since the establishment of IncluDE in April 2024. These seminars provide an opportunity for concurrent faculty and full-time members of IncluDE research divisions to share their cutting-edge research in DEI-related areas.
The seminars aim to generate new insights for both practice and research by bringing together faculty members who are researching various minority issues, including not only barrier-free and gender/sexuality issues but also nationality, ethnicity, religion, language, and others, fostering a frank exchange of opinions.
