Event report: “Women’s Day Off” A Special Screening & Talk Event on Gender Equality in Iceland

On 23 October 2025, a special screening & talk event on the Icelandic “Women’s Day Off”” was organized by the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies (III), Hayashi Kaori Lab, Fujita Yuko Lab, and kinologue, and co-organized by IncluDE. The screening event was held at the University of Tokyo’s Hongo Campus. The film was distributed by Utako Morishita (a doctoral student in the Cultural and Human Information Studies Course) and is now showing at Theatre Image Forum and other theaters across Japan.
