The 18th IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held on April 11, 2025.
The 18th session featured two presentations by IGUCHI Takashi, ASAI Sachiko. The presentation materials are available in the archive.
In this lunch seminar, the participants exchanged information on the current status and challenges of “living together (共生:kyosei)” with dementia in Japanese society, the concept of gender-sensitive education, and educational practices in Japan.
After the two presentations, we considered the phenomenon and issues surrounding the value of care, and discussed various resources for enhancing and increasing the value of care in Japan, as well as ideas and future challenges for expanding gender-sensitive education.

※The IncluDE Lunch Seminars, organized by the Office for DEI Coproduction Strategies, have been held about twice a month since the establishment of IncluDE in April 2024. These seminars provide an opportunity for concurrent faculty and full-time members of IncluDE research divisions to share their cutting-edge research in DEI-related areas.
The seminars aim to generate new insights for both practice and research by bringing together faculty members who are researching various minority issues, including not only barrier-free and gender/sexuality issues but also nationality, ethnicity, religion, language, and others, fostering a frank exchange of opinions.
