The 11th IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held on December 24, 2024.
The 11th session featured two presentations by MIYAMOTO Yuki, NAGAI Yukie. The presentation materials are available in the archive.
In this lunch seminar, we exchanged information on various initiatives aimed at understanding the experiences of individuals with mental and developmental disabilities and fostering changes in awareness and perception. Following presentations by two speakers, we discussed practical approaches such as peer support by those directly affected and the development of support techniques, as well as ideas for creating a more inclusive society that is welcoming to everyone, not just those directly affected.

※The IncluDE Lunch Seminars, organized by the Office for DEI Coproduction Strategies, have been held about twice a month since the establishment of IncluDE in April 2024. These seminars provide an opportunity for concurrent faculty and full-time members of IncluDE research divisions to share their cutting-edge research in DEI-related areas.
The seminars aim to generate new insights for both practice and research by bringing together faculty members who are researching various minority issues, including not only barrier-free and gender/sexuality issues but also nationality, ethnicity, religion, language, and others, fostering a frank exchange of opinions.
