10th IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held

The 10th IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held on December 13, 2024.

The 10th session featured two presentations by AYAYA Satsuki Ayaya, KIM Jihye. The presentation materials are available in the archive.

In this lunch seminar, we focused on the voices of individuals with developmental disabilities and sexual minorities, exchanging information about the diversity that exists not only between those directly affected and those who are not but also within the communities of those directly affected. After presentations by two speakers, we discussed ways to foster an inclusive university environment and society that embraces the complexity of intersecting diversities.

※The IncluDE Lunch Seminars, organized by the Office for DEI Coproduction Strategies, have been held about twice a month since the establishment of IncluDE in April 2024. These seminars provide an opportunity for concurrent faculty and full-time members of IncluDE research divisions to share  their cutting-edge research in DEI-related areas.

The seminars aim to generate new insights  for both practice and research by bringing together faculty members who are researching various minority issues, including not only barrier-free and gender/sexuality issues but also nationality, ethnicity, religion, language, and others, fostering a frank exchange of opinions.
