The 8th IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held on November 8, 2024.
The 8th session featured two presentations by NIHEI Misato, YOSHIMOTO Hideki. The presentation materials are available in the archive.
In this seminar, we exchanged information about the concept of universal design and inclusive social integration through the development of equipment and devices that expand accessibility. After the presentations, participants engaged in a discussion on education from the perspective of design, which can lead to new insights into the importance of diversity.

※The IncluDE Lunch Seminars, organized by the Office for DEI Coproduction Strategies, have been held about twice a month since the establishment of IncluDE in April 2024. These seminars provide an opportunity for concurrent faculty and full-time members of IncluDE research divisions to share their cutting-edge research in DEI-related areas.
The seminars aim to generate new insights for both practice and research by bringing together faculty members who are researching various minority issues, including not only barrier-free and gender/sexuality issues but also nationality, ethnicity, religion, language, and others, fostering a frank exchange of opinions.
