1st IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held

The 1st IncluDE Lunch Seminar was held on July 22, 2024.

The IncluDE Lunch Seminars have been held by the Office for DEI Coproduction Strategies about twice a month since the establishment of IncluDE in April 2024. They provide an opportunity for faculty and full-time members of IncluDE research divisions who hold concurrent appointments with other departments to report to each other about their cutting-edge research in DEI-related areas. The aim of these seminars is to generate new knowledge for practice and research by bringing together faculty members who are researching various minority issues, including not only barrier-free and gender/sexuality issues but also nationality, ethnicity, religion, language, and others, for a frank exchange of opinions.

The first session featured three presentations by KUMAGAYA Shinichiro, SECHIYAMA Kaku, and Elisa RUIZ-TADA. The presentation materials are available in the archive. After the presentations, participants exchanged opinions on how to hold the lunch seminar itself, and came up with ideas such as the introduction of a multilingual application.
