Supervised by Kaori Hayashi and edited by the Center for Coproduction of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity, “Exploring Gender from Diverse Perspectives: Thirteen Lectures at the University of Tokyo” has been published by the University of Tokyo Press.
This book compiles selected lectures from an interdisciplinary course offered at the University of Tokyo’s College of Arts and Sciences. The course aims to deconstruct the concept of gender through diverse perspectives—including culture, economics, education, religion, language, science, health, sexuality, and media—to examine contemporary societal issues and foster changes in awareness and behavior.
