PHED (Platform of Higher Education and Disability)

[Overview]
PHED (Platform of Higher Education and Disability) is a platform-building project that collaborates with universities and corporations nationwide to establish and share support standards for students with disabilities in higher and post-secondary education. The project also develops and implements specialized training programs for support personnel and facilitates industry-academia-government partnerships across Japan to create hubs for career transitions and internships through initiatives such as town meetings.

Additionally, PHED collaborates with organizations such as the Association on Higher Education And Disability Japan (AHEAD JAPAN) (http://ahead-japan.org/) and the Accessibility Consortium of Enterprises (ACE) (https://www.j-ace.net).
